Presentation of the IDO Congress lectures.

Ansell Chezan, England (Salsa Shines, Double Salsa)

A well known teacher, choreographer and examiner of many styles of dancing. His special interest in improving the Latino dances in England is by the English teachers highly appreciated. Ansell will give a lecture in Salsa shines and Salsa where one man is dancing with two ladies.

Guido de Smet, Belgium (Argentine Tango)

Graduated at Leuven University with a Master degree in Sport and Physical education, specialisation in dance. Special University degree in training and coaching specialised in dancing.Together with Ilse Camby nine times Belgian Professional Champion Standard and Latin.Fellow and examiner BULDO. President BULDO.Specialising in Argentine tango since 1987.

Stefano Vennettilly, Italy (Rueda, Bachata and Merengue).

Wellknown competitor, finalist in many World Championships, Mambo and Salsa. Trainer and coach for many successful competitors. Are running a big danceschool specialized in Carribbean dancing. A fantastic teacher and an excellent dancer who everybody is enjoying tremendously.

 Per Hammerlund, Denmark  (Jitterbug)

Per is one of our most respected teacher and lecturer in the Swing, Jitterbug, Boogie Woogie family that we have in Europe. He is coaching the Danish team as well as Norwegian and Swedish dancers that are on the World top in Boogie Woogie in the World today.

 Dominique Bengasini, France (Swing/Jitterbug, teaching system)

Wellknown dance teacher from France. Expert in Swingdances like Jitterbug, Be bop and Rock'n Roll. President of the French IDO organization and organizer of many big dance competitions.

 Thomas Puttman, Germany (Discofox, Fun dances)

A former Latin dancer and 3 TIMES World Champion in Formation dancing. Thomas have created the German Discofox teaching system, Disco Charlie and is an excellent lecturer in not only Disco fox and other couple dances but also in Hip Hop and Fun dances. A great entertainer and teacher.

Nils-Håkan Carlzon, Sweden (Bugg and Nordic Leisure dancing)

Lecturer at dance teachers Congresses around the World since over 40 years. Specialist in Social leisure dancing and teaching methods. The inventor of the Swedish Bugg and the Nordic Leisure dance system.

 Pablo Kliksberg, Argentina (Advanced Argentine Tango)

Lecturer and performer at Argentine Tango conventions and Congresses around the World since many years.  Excellent dancer and very experienced teacher, well known in the World of Argentine Tango. There will be opportunities for competitors to take private lessons in Argentine Tango on Thursday the 5th July. Bookings will be taken in advance through e-mail to Pablo.  Patricia Rezende, Brazil (Lambada/Zouk)


Born in Brazil, Patricia has a BA in Physical Education. She founded the Beija-Flor Dance Group, in London, to promote Brazilian Culture through Dance, Music & Costume. Patricia is a qualified Dance Teacher with the UKA, and is qualified to teach Lambazouk Teachers. She has been working 20 years with dance both in the UK and Brazil.

 

 The IDO Couple Dance Congress is open to all interested teachers, coaches, and competitors (Amateurs and Professionals)

The full Congress, 90 Euro, two days 70 Euro, one day ticket 50 Euro.

Special prize for competitors taking part in the Championships, 25 Euro per day.

20.00 -           IDO Special Couple Dance Committee meeting

The IDO Special Couple Dance Committee Annual Meeting will take place in Nauders, Austria Monday the 7th July 2007. Registration of delegates will start at 19.45. The meeting will be called to order at 20.00 hours with an agenda as set out below. Nominations to the positions of delegates in the Special Couple Dance Sub Committees should reach the Hon. President's office no later than the 15th of June. Elections to the special positions within each Sub Committees will take place at the meeting amongst the nominated candidates.
