writing as long as there are tickets available. Price for
tribune seat (free seating) is € 8 (no dining necessary)

Tickets must be paid and picked up at the tourist office in
Nauders no later than Friday, July 11, 2008. Tickets that have
not been picked up by Friday 5 p.m. expire automatically |

(Österreichische Hotelvertragsbedingungen) are effective.
No-shows will be charged 100 % cancellation fees, due to the

Nauders – Tyrol meets Latino! |
Approximately 1500 dance couples are expected to partake in the mega
event 5th Latino Dance Festival in the mountain village of Nauders. The
idyllic host village is gearing up for an unprecedented international
nature of the event, mixing hot salsa tunes with alpine altitude,
lambada with lederhosen, and salsa with “schuhplattlern.“ The event
hosts would like to welcome the guests from all over the world with the
motto: “Tyrol meets Latino“ (July 10-12, 2008) and have transformed the
traditional village center to a “Mercado“. Here, the competitors and all
other guests can experience the Latino vibes with its cultural dances
and way of life, but also the hospitality and folk dances of Tyrol.
Complete Three Day
Program
The
Tschiggfrey-Straße will be transformed into a pedestrian zone between 5
p.m. and 2 a.m. Stretching from the World Champion tent with Latino
Beach Club, past the castle of Naudersburg, the Naudershof salsa club
and the IDO bar Schwarzer Adler to Post’s Lambada Beach club, the
Latino-Tyrolean vibrations will rule the streets. The town’s center will
be alive like never before with chill-out zones, awnings, colorful
lanterns, stages, beach bars, souvenirs and Caribbean flair. Also the
cuisine will mirror the international fusion – the food stands will
offer everything from Tyrolean kasspatzln, krapfen and G’röstl, to
tortillas, enchiladas, Caribbean rice dishes and barbecued scampi. The
thirsty will have a great selection when it comes to wet the whistle –
the Bachata Chill-out Club Tirolerhot, at the Mambobar Yeti, the
cocktail bar Tia Monte, the Monkey Streetbar and the Tango Hochland all
serve Tyrolean beer and schnaps, but also Mojito, Daiquiris and Tequila
Sunrise. The amazing mix of traditional Tyrolean and vibrating Latino
will make Nauders swing. Performed on two stages, a great
dance-music-contrast-show program highlights the two culture groups; the
salsa will be followed by a schuhplattler, the bachata by a polka, and a
tango argentino by a boarischer. Naturally will there be plenty of
opportunities for the guests to also „shake a leg“ – either on one of
the two open-air dance stages or simply in the pedestrian zone streets.
Take some time to find a perfect souvenir to bring home from this great
Reschenpass dance event, and who knows: Maybe there are unknown
similarities to be discovered between the Tyrolean, Latino and Caribbean
cultures in Nauders.
